Revoke product access

Removes a member's grant on a product.

DELETE/products/{slug}/access/{memberId}

Removes a member's grant on a product. Idempotent and never 404s on a missing grant: if the member had no grant the call still returns 200 with revoked: false and the message 'That member did not have access to this product.' Use revoked to tell the two apart. You cannot revoke your own key owner's access - that returns 403 auth.self_mutation_forbidden, which is what stops an integrator locking themselves out of a private product. Revoking on a public product removes the stored grant but changes nothing about who can read it.

Requires the product-access:write scope.

401Unauthorized

  • auth.api_key_required - the Authorization header is missing, or its value does not start with ev_sk_.
  • auth.api_key_not_found - the key is unknown, inactive or revoked.
  • auth.api_key_user_missing - the key is valid but its owner no longer exists.
  • auth.api_key_owner_not_member - the key's owner is no longer a member of the key's workspace.

402Payment Required

product.locked - the product sits beyond the plan's product allowance.

403Forbidden

  • auth.key_project_restricted - the key is scoped to a list of project ids.
  • auth.scope_missing - the key lacks product_access:write.
  • auth.self_mutation_forbidden - the member id resolves to the key owner's own membership.
  • auth.workspace_two_factor_required - the workspace requires two-factor authentication and the key's owner has not turned it on.

404Not Found

  • product.not_found - no product matches, or it is private and the key owner has no grant.
  • member.not_found - no live member of this workspace has that member id.

500Internal Server Error

server.error - an unexpected error; retry with backoff.

503Service Unavailable

server.error - the API is in maintenance mode or is missing its configuration; retry with backoff.
